Services for Health Care Employers
The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) services are designed to assist Kansas health care organizations in recruiting and retaining health care providers. The KRRC partners with hospitals, private physician practices, community and behavioral health centers, and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in communities across the State of Kansas.
Recruitment
Recruitment specialists work one-on-one with health care employers to develop an opportunity description, identify key characteristics of an ideal candidate, create a marketing plan to recruit candidates, and offer guidance throughout the interview and hiring process. The KRRC specializes in the recruitment of physicians, dentists, PAs, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health, and behavioral health professionals.
The KRRC only recruits for Kansas! Health care organizations in rural, urban underserved, and metro areas can sign up to partner with the KRRC to find health care providers. A Standard Annual or Annual Plus contract will be selected based on your needs and county population status.
Getting Started
- Contact the KRRC team at 316-293-2649 or krrc@kumc.edu to discuss your unique workforce needs and determine an appropriate contract. The KRRC is a state-supported program that allows the fee structure to be very affordable.
- Submit the Standard Annual or Annual Plus contract.
- Complete a Client Information Form.
- Complete an Opportunity Profile form with position details.
The KRRC will start recruiting and share the opportunity with the appropriate candidate pool.
