Professional Background

In addition to chairing the admissions committee and serving as an advisor to incoming students, Jan Hudzicki, Ph.D., MLS(ASCP), SM(ASCP), teaches graduate courses in advanced microbiology and health care education.

Holding board certifications from the American Society for Clinical Pathology as a medical laboratory scientist and as a specialist in microbiology, Hudzicki has been well-published within the field of microbiology and continues to hold workshops and seminars to expound her expertise.

Academic Background
Hudzicki earned a bachelor's degree in medical technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1978. After earning a certificate of completion in medical technology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Pa., she received a degree in adult occupational and continuing education in 1991 from the University of Phoenix in Denver, Colo.

In 2004, Hudzicki earned her doctorate in adult, occupational and continuing education from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas.
