Our program consists of one fellow each year, who is very involved in every aspect of patient care within the division. Fellows gain clinical experience via rotations at The University of Kansas Hospital and Clinics and Children's Mercy Hospital. Our fellow receives experience reading adult sleep studies at our two adult sleep labs along with the pediatric sleep lab at Children's Mercy Hospital. Our fellow sees in-patient sleep medicine consults at The University of Kansas Hospital (KUH).

KUH is a 625-bed hospital, consistently rated the best hospital in Kansas City and Kansas. It is also the primary subspecialty hospital for a large area of the central US, covering all of Kansas, western Missouri, and parts of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Iowa.

KUH is nationally ranked by US News and World Report in all 12 subspecialties, and the Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine division has been as high as 12th in the past three years.
