Additional Support

This is a campus-wide group for KU Medical Center community members interested in coaching. The group meets monthly via Teams to discuss coaching skills and ideas for expanding the presence of coaching at KU Medical Center. Generally, at each meeting a group member volunteers to be the client and a KU Medical Center staff or faculty member who is a certified coach leads a short coaching session which the group observes and discusses.

About Coaching

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination.

Eaton Hall Lecture

The Eaton Hall Lecture Series at the University of Kansas Medical Center is a university-wide lectureship focused on diversity, equity and inclusion in medicine.

This is for new faculty at KU Medical Center who have not previously attended. We welcome you to the medical center community.* At this onboarding, you will get an introduction to the core elements of being a faculty member at the medical center.

As a new employee, we know you have several onboardings. We encourage new faculty to attend the New Faculty Onboarding as soon as possible but complete it anytime during their first 2 years at KU Medical Center. This onboarding is offered twice a year in the Fall and Spring.
